Our journey with SMAIR Foundation began with a small pilot bootcamp. A handful of students, the right tools, and one shared belief: every child deserves the chance to become an innovator. Curiosity already existed. We helped create a place for it to grow.
A first circuit became a working project. Students built smart dustbins, temperature-controlled fans, obstacle-avoiding robots, and home-control systems. Bootcamps grew into weekend clubs and school workshops. Every experiment offered a new reason to say, “I can build this.”
Ten students took their work to the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Nigeria in Abuja. After weeks of building and testing robots around agriculture and food security, the SMAIR team earned third place. A classroom idea had become a national-stage achievement.
Today, AIR connects learning with professional development, research, and practical business solutions. Alongside schools, mentors, and industry partners, we are growing an ecosystem where African talent can turn ideas into technology that helps people.
